Hi All,
This forum or blog is sponsored by the Internet Chinese Librarians Club (www.iclc.us) . As a forum, it is easier to share our ideas regarding how to promote Chinese Librarianship.
In a sense, this blog or forum is a companion to a formal publication "Chinese Librarianship: an International Electronic Journal" (www.iclc.us/cliej).
The goal is the same: To promote Chinese Librarianship worldwide.

What is "Chinese Libarianship"?
"Chinese Librarianship" could be broadly denfined as the segment in the library and information profession where librarians of Chinese origin are involved in its development as well as the contributions from librarians of other origins to the services of Chinese materials for their constituencies or communities.
Incidentally, it bears the same name of our publication "Chinese Librarianship".
So, in a sense, the forum or blog is to promote both :)
