CLIEJ and EBSCO

CLIEJ (Chinese Librarianship: an International Electronic Journal) has been included in Ebsco Publishing's new database LISTA (Library, Information Science and Technology Abstracts).

1. Go to: www.epnet.com;
2. Click the "Access LISTA" button;
3. Click the link "Launch the LISTA database now";
4. Click the "Indexes" button on the pop-up window;
5. In the "Browse an index" box, scroll down to "Publication Name";
6. In the "Browse for" box, type "chinese librarianship";
7. Click the "Browse" button;
8. Check the box before "CHINESE LIBRARIANSHIP" under "Term";
9. Click the "Add" button above "Term" to the right;
10. Click the "Search" button above, and you'll see a list of titles from CLIEJ.

Note: Not all articles from CLIEJ have been included in LISTA yet. Ebsco Publishing is still working on the project.

Eventually, Ebsco will include all full-text articles from CLIEJ in its new database called "LIS" (Library and Information Science).

Stay tuned.

Chinese Librarianship forum

Hi All,

This forum or blog is sponsored by the Internet Chinese Librarians Club (www.iclc.us) . As a forum, it is easier to share our ideas regarding how to promote Chinese Librarianship.

In a sense, this blog or forum is a companion to a formal publication "Chinese Librarianship: an International Electronic Journal" (www.iclc.us/cliej).

The goal is the same: To promote Chinese Librarianship worldwide.
